So delighted to announce that we have received a development grant from the Sundance Institute for our documentary feature film ‘Mother Vera’. The film came out of a chance meeting with nun Vera, whom we met at Grabraka, Poland when we were working on my project ‘Ex-Voto.’ Filmed entirely in Belarus, the documentary is co-directed with Cécile Embleton and produced by Laura Shacham (She Makes Productions). We hope to complete the film by the end of 2021.
